CRRC Shandong Wind Power Achieves Mass Delivery of 6.5MW High-speed Couplings

On July 4, 2025, a truck loaded with 12 sets of 6.5MW high-speed wind turbine couplings from CRRC Shandong Wind Power Co., Ltd. (CRRC Shandong Wind Power for short) slowly drove out of the Jingjin Road factory of Luoyang Yunchuan Co., Ltd. (YCM for short), marking the beginning of mass supply from YCM to CRRC Shandong Wind Power and a milestone moment.

The cooperation between YCM and CRRC Shandong Wind Power started three years ago. In September 2022, YCM developed 4 sets of 5.5MW couplings for CRRC Shandong Wind Power's Dahu Tai project, and prototype testing began.
After three years of coupling on-hook assessment, in November 2024, YCM developed the ZC559, a 6.25MW coupling for CRRC Shandong Wind Power, and successfully delivered 32 sets in November 2024 for CRRC Shandong Wind Power's Jinchang project.
In February 2025, YCM developed the C12, a 10MW coupling platform, which passed customer acceptance and was delivered.

At present, the 4 types of coupling products developed through cooperation between the two sides have passed customer acceptance, with mature and stable product processes, gradually achieving mass supply and realizing the goal of deep strategic cooperation between the two sides.
As an important manufacturer of wind power components, after nearly 10 years of hard work, YCM has formed a series of products covering 1.5MW, 2.XMW, 3.XMW, 4.XMW, 5.XMW, 6.XMW, 7.XMW, 8.XMW, 9.XMW, 10.XMW, and 15MW with a slipping torque of 180KNM. The rich product platforms can provide customers with customized, complete, reliable, and systematic wind turbine coupling system solutions to better serve domestic and foreign main engine manufacturers.
