("YCM")has completed rigorous six‑month on‑turbine testing for the custom‑developed ND6.XMW high‑speed coupling for Nordex, officially launching mass production and delivery. The first batch of 25 units has been shipped directly to India. Following the mass delivery of its 5MW high‑speed coupling, this new major product marks another key milestone in the strategic partnership between the two parties.

Rigorous Field Testing Validates Performance, Mass Delivery Achieved
Developed on the proven ND5.X coupling platform, the ND6.XMW high‑speed coupling is a customized transmission solution for Nordex’s large‑megawatt turbine portfolio.
Sample units of ND6.X were delivered in May 2025 and installed for on‑turbine validation at Nordex facilities in Germany, China and India. After six months of real‑world operational assessment, the product passed full qualification with reliable transmission performance and obtained Nordex’s mass‑supply approval.

Back in January 2026, the brake disc assembly of ND6.X high‑speed coupling passed Nordex SQE on‑site audit for small‑batch production, with 5 units already delivered. The recent shipment of 20 units to India signifies full completion of production ramp‑up for this model.
Deep Expertise in Wind Power Transmission, Accelerated Global Expansion
YCM’s cooperation with Nordex originated from the 5MW product platform. The partnership has grown steadily from prototype development, prototype validation and pilot‑batch trial to full‑scale delivery, building deep‑rooted mutual trust.
