Product Description
Couplings, also known as couplings, are mechanical components used to securely connect the driving shaft and driven shaft in different mechanisms for simultaneous rotation, and to transmit motion and torque. They are sometimes also used to connect shafts to other parts (such as gears, pulleys, etc.). They are often composed of two halves, respectively connected using keys or tight fits, fastened to the ends of the two shafts, and then connected in some way. Couplings can also compensate for offsets (including axial, radial, angular, or combined offsets) between the two shafts due to manufacturing and installation inaccuracies, deformation during operation, or thermal expansion; as well as mitigate shock and vibration.
